About Jim
Jim Even is a Sioux Falls personal injury attorney with more than 30 years of legal experience dedicated to representing people who have been injured because of someone else’s negligence. His practice is focused exclusively on personal injury matters, and he has handled hundreds of cases involving car and truck accidents, ATV accidents, traumatic brain injuries, serious neck and back injuries, gunshot injuries, and wrongful death.
Before establishing the Even Law Firm in 2001, Jim spent several years representing insurance companies in injury and workers’ compensation matters. That experience gave him valuable insight into how insurers evaluate and defend claims, which he now uses on behalf of injured individuals. Since returning to Sioux Falls in 1993, he has represented injury victims rather than insurance companies and has personally handled cases through settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial. His work has helped clients recover millions of dollars through settlements and jury verdicts.
