About Monica
Monica Park is Counsel at Hemmat Law Group, where she focuses exclusively on family law and has spent more than a decade helping individuals and families navigate complex legal disputes. Known for her balanced approach, Monica combines strong courtroom advocacy with empathy, practical guidance, and clear communication, particularly in high-conflict divorce and child custody matters. She represents clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials across Washington, always striving to help them move through difficult transitions with confidence and dignity. Fluent in both English and Korean, she is especially passionate about assisting immigrant families and ensuring every client feels heard and supported throughout the legal process.
Before joining Hemmat Law Group, Monica founded her own family law practice and also served as an attorney with respected Washington law firms, building extensive litigation experience in a wide range of family law matters. Beyond her legal practice, she has a longstanding commitment to public service through pro bono work for survivors of domestic violence, low-income individuals, and immigrant communities. Her volunteer efforts have included years of service with Seattle Union Gospel Mission's Open Door Legal Services, where she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year.
