About Kevin
Kevin J. Keane is a Buffalo attorney with more than 28 years of legal experience and a distinguished background in public service and the judiciary. Before joining O’Brien & Ford in April 2024, he served as a Buffalo City Court Judge for 20 years after beginning his legal career in the Corporation Counsel’s Office for the City of Buffalo.
During his time in the Corporation Counsel’s Office, Kevin handled prosecution of Buffalo City Court and Housing Court matters, defense litigation involving the Buffalo Fire Department and Buffalo Police Department, and served as Deputy Corporation Counsel. After being elected to the Buffalo City Court bench in 2003, he handled a wide range of judicial responsibilities, including overseeing the Domestic Violence Part and serving as the judge responsible for Erie County’s DWI Compliance Court.
After retiring from the bench at the end of 2023, Kevin turned his focus to advocating for injured people and joined O’Brien & Ford’s personal injury team. His extensive experience in litigation, public service, and the courtroom provides him with a strong foundation for representing individuals seeking justice and compensation following serious injuries.
