About Emily
Emily Oczytko is a personal injury attorney with Richmond Vona in Buffalo, New York. She focuses her practice on representing individuals injured in car accidents, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability matters, dog bites, slip and falls, wrongful death cases, and catastrophic injuries. Emily joined Richmond Vona in 2026, bringing a full-spectrum understanding of personal injury practice developed through her progression from receptionist and legal assistant to paralegal, law clerk, and attorney.
Emily is committed to helping injury victims navigate difficult circumstances with empathy, transparency, and strong advocacy. Her early experience at a personal injury firm showed her how insurance companies can take advantage of unrepresented individuals and strengthened her dedication to protecting clients' rights. She also values the contingency-fee model because it helps make quality legal representation accessible to people from all walks of life.
Beyond her legal practice, Emily has contributed to the Western New York community, including organizing a donation drive for the Family Justice Center and helping create the Western New York Women's Foundation Voter Education Guide. She earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her J.D., cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law.
