About Kyle
Kyle Bachus is a personal injury attorney and co-founder of Bachus & Schanker, LLC in Colorado. For more than 30 years, he has dedicated his career exclusively to representing injured individuals and families who have lost loved ones. His practice focuses on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases, and he leads the firm’s Elite Litigation Group, which handles some of the most serious injury and death claims.
Bachus is known for his plaintiff-focused approach and extensive trial experience. He has been instrumental in shaping Colorado law concerning insurance coverage and the rights of injury victims, including his work on the state’s made-whole statute and uninsured/underinsured motorist protections. He also served as trial and appellate counsel in Fisher v. State Farm, which resulted in a Colorado Supreme Court decision protecting certain uninsured and underinsured motorist benefits.
Throughout his career, Bachus has received numerous professional distinctions, including an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and more than 20 consecutive years of recognition by Colorado Super Lawyers.
